About This Major
A fellowship training program that prepares physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of the entire range of painful disorders, either as a primary physician or consultant, for patients experiencing problems with acute, chronic, and/or cancer pain in both hospital and ambulatory settings. Requires prior completion of a residency program in anesthesiology, neurology, child neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or psychiatry. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
